What has added credence to the De Roon story is a quote Mourinho told the press after United had beaten Boro 3-1 back in March. He commented:

There are also reports that Atalanta want De Roon back but they may not be willing to go as high as the £15m they sold him for last summer. As for that £8.8m valuation in reports, it roughly converts to €10m.
