Former Arsenal transfer target Karim Benzema has admitted he laughs with friends about his rumoured move to the Emirates Stadium.
The French striker opted to stay at Real Madrid over the summer, despite interest from the Gunners, and posted an amusing retort to those linking him with the London club.
“I laugh about it with my brother and my friends,” Benzema told French publication Journal de Dimanche.
“We wait for the media to come out with these rumours,” he added.
Benzema is one of the top scorers in La Liga this season with six goals, so we can see why he wouldn’t be too upset with his decision to stay in Spain.
