Manchester United completed a stunning comeback against Manchester City on Saturday.
United were trailing 2-0 at half-time of the Premier League tie at the Etihad Stadium, with City 45 minutes from wrapping up the title and in complete control of the game. Pep Guardiola’s side also missed two clear chances in the first-half and it looked like a question of how many they would score on their way to winning the league.
United were reeling and looked set for a humiliating defeat.
Then, somehow, Jose Mourinho’s team staged an incredible comeback, scoring three times in 16 minutes.
Paul Pogba and Chris Smalling, two of United’s worst players in the first half, scored the goals to make it 3-2 and record a famous result for the red half of Manchester. City will now have to wait a few weeks to wrap up the league.

Pogba scored twice and ended up with the man of the match award. After a poor first half, patchy form in recent months and transfer speculation around him, the French midfielder couldn’t have picked a better time to show his talent.
On Friday, Guardiola said he was offered the chance to sign Pogba in January by Mino Raiola, the player’s agent. Mourinho, who has reportedly had a strained relationship with the midfielder at times, made light of this following Saturday’s game.
“If his agent was offering him to some clubs, the price has gone up a lot,” Mourinho said.
Mourinho on Pogba, "I wasn't asking Paul to improve because I was happy with what he was doing in the first half, then he scored two great goals. If his agent was offering him to some clubs, the price has now gone up a lot."
