But in the potentially more positive news for Wilshere, L’Equipe are reporting that Paris Saint-Germain could be a possible destination for him. Yes, PSG. The French champions, could sign the 26-year-old Wilshere.
His contract runs out this summer and he is yet to agree on a new one with his boyhood club. With Arsene Wenger gone, it is increasingly likely that Wilshere may have to leave Arsenal this summer.
The French champions already have Adrien Rabiot, Marco Verratti and Julain Draxler, so Wilshere would not start many games. But he may rather head to Paris than a mid-table Premier League club?
The reports state that Wilshere’s services have been presented to PSG by his representatives, so they could just turn him down. But given that he’s available on a free, it is feasible, but unlikely.
