Not sure he’s going to make a sale, but this Arsenal fan’s achieved internet fame with his social media meltdown.
Arsenal’s title run took a huge hit on Sunday as they suffered a 3-2 loss to Manchester United at Old Trafford. The result was made much worse by Tottenham Hotspur’s utter refusal to ‘Spurs up’ their season, as they strengthened their hunt for the title with a 2-1 win over Swansea City.
One “fan” was so apoplectic with the frustrating loss to United, that he decided the best course of action was to almost instantaneously turn his back on the club by attempting to flog his jersey online. He uploaded a photo of his shredded shirt to Facebook with the following caption:
“Arsenal new shirt as you can see it has got no heart no stomach armless and no backbone willing to sell [sic]”
We’re extremely grateful that he didn’t go the whole hog and make a statement about the team not having any balls.
