Frank Lampard sent to the stands during Derby's loss to Rotherham
Frank Lampard received only four red cards in his 867 games as a player but it's taken just a month for him to be sent off as a manager.
Lampard was sent to the stands late on in Derby County's frustrating defeat to Rotherham United on Saturday.
The Derby manager let his emotions get the best of him in a dramatic second half at New York Stadium and the referee's patience soon wore thin.
The Rams had Tom Lawrence sent off on the hour-mark for a shocking tackle on Richie Towell and it didn't take long for Lampard to receive his marching orders too.
Ryan Manning opened the scoring for the hosts from the penalty spot and it ultimately proved decisive as Rotherham claimed all three points.

Lampard had been voicing his anger towards the officials throughout the match but it proved to be one outburst too many as referee Peter Bankes sent him packing.
The former England and Chelsea midfielder might have had an impressive disciplinary record as a player but it seems like life as a manager is a tad more stressful.
Derby drop to seventh in the Championship with the defeat, which is their first since late August.
