Everyone made the exact same joke when Scotland fell behind to a Robert Mak opener

Isn't it ironic? Don't ya think

A Mak scoring against Scotland, get it?

There were, without exaggeration, 80 bajillion jokes that surfaced on the internet after Robert Mak opened the scoring for Slovakia against Gordon Strachan’s men on Tuesday night.

You see, “Mc” or “Mac”, are elements of many Scottish surnames, stemming from the Gaelic word for “son of”.

So imagine the bloody odds that someone with a similar name found the net against the Scots.

Irony-loving football fans were simply falling over one another as they rushed to be first to point out the humorous quirk of the goal and its scorer.

God help us all if Lukas O comes off the bench to score a second. (There may or may not be a Slovakia international by the name of Lukas O).
