Emi Martinez takes trolling of Kylian Mbappe to whole new level on bus parade

Talk about kicking a man when he’s down.

Argentina goalkeeper Emi Martinez continues to troll France’s golden boy Kylian Mbappe after he helped his country win the World Cup for the third time in their history.

Martinez played a huge role in his nation’s success, and made himself box office with his hilarious celebrations, taunting of opposition players, and penalty shootout heroics.

His added charisma and blatant disregard of the conventional, makes him an incredibly entertaining guy to watch, and above all of that, he’s a pretty dam good keeper.

The way he won the Golden Gloves award probably best encapsulates the man, as he picks up this prestigious accolade on the biggest stage of them all, and his first instinct is to mime-hump it.

However, he seems to have a particular vendetta against Mbappe, who scored a hat trick in the final and converted his penalty in the shootout, meaning that he scored four past Martinez.

But in the dressing room amidst the celebrations, the Aston Villa keeper stopped and called for a ‘moment of silence for Mbappe.’

A bit of tongue in cheek but not too bad in the grand scheme of things, but during the celebration parade with the Argentina team on an open top bus, he went one further.

While others were holding aloft their World Cup winners medals or the trophy itself, Martinez is carrying a toy baby with a picture of Mbappe’s face on it.

Whether it was created by him or not is not confirmed, but he absolutely loves kicking the PSG star when he’s down.

The fact that Lionel Messi is right next to him on the bus makes it a bit awkward considering that the Argentina hero will be playing alongside the Frenchman again in just a couple of weeks.

Whether it’s right or wrong is one thing, but you have to admit that there’s no one quite like Emi Martinez in modern football.
