But the Times report that Chelsea vice-president Joe Hemani was less than impressed with Beckham's show of pleasure and an altercation took place.

"It is alleged that Joe Hemani, an IT entrepreneur who has been a vice-president of the club for 31 years, quarrelled with the Beckhams after the former England captain applauded Adrien Rabiot’s opening goal for PSG. "Chelsea confirmed that an incident took place, but the club and Hemani deny that he used any rude language or gestures insisting that he merely told the Beckhams to calm down. "Hemani is believed to have taken umbrage at the Beckhams’ response to Rabiot’s goal, which involved Brooklyn jumping out of his seat and his father applauding."
