Antonio Conte is still the Chelsea manager, incredibly. The situation at Stamford Bridge right now is very complicated, with plans to extend the stadium put on hold and the owner Roman Abramovich unable to enter the country. But the show must go on, and they must search for their new manager, as Conte’s relationship with the squad and the club as a whole has grown increasingly toxic.
Plenty of names have been linked, such as Maurizio Sarri and Luis Enrique, but Zinedine Zidane’s exit from Real Madrid has blown the managerial market wide open. Sarri is now thought to be the front-runner to succeed Zidane, and as a result Chelsea have begun to look elsewhere.
According to the highly reliable journalist, Gianluca Di Marzio, Fulham boss Slaviša Jokanović is in the running for the vacancy at Chelsea.

Jokanović’s Fulham side caught the eye of many casual Championship viewers this season with their cultured style of play, focussed on passing the ball quickly on the ground. Ryan Sessegnon and Tom Cairney were their standout players throughout the season and combined to score the goal that clinched Fulham’s promotion in the play-off final against Aston Villa.
He also took Watford up to the Premier League in the 2014/15 season but never managed them in the top flight as he was replaced by Quique Sánchez Flores.
It would be a bold appointment from Chelsea, but you can’t say that Jokanović has not shown great promise.
