Some Celtic fans are worried.

Moussa Dembele has been spotted on a flight to London, adding a further layer to speculation linking him with a move to Chelsea.

Chelsea are interested in signing Celtic’s top scorer this season, and are weighing-up whether to make a £30m deadline day bid for the player, or wait until the summer.

According to The Guardian, they have made their interested known to the Scottish club. Chelsea have also been linked with a move for Celtic goalkeeper Craig Gordon.

Celtic only had to pay Fulham £500,000 compensation for the 20-year-old last summer, as Dembele was out of contract with the London club.

He has proved to be a brilliant signing for the Scottish champions. The French striker has scored 20 goals in 38 appearances, including two goals against Manchester City in the Champions League group stage game at Celtic Park.

In December, Brendan Rodgers dismissed suggestions the club would sell Dembele in the January window.

However, the Celtic manager conceded the time may come when the player joins a Premier League team. Whenever that occurs, the Scottish club look set to make a massive profit.

Some Celtic fans are worried that Dembele has played his final game for the club, after he was spotted on a flight south…

However, according to several sources, Dembele was flying south for a “scan on his injured knee.”

We’ll know for certain by the end of the day.
