Brazil’s World Cup jersey isn’t yellow (apparently)

SportsJOE

The first official images of Brazil’s World Cup jersey have been leaked, ahead of the kit’s release later this week.

The five-time World Cup winners will wear a darker shade of yellow at the tournament in Russia, described as “Midwest Gold” by Footy Headlines, who have got their hands on images of the new jersey.

Brazil’s kit manufacturers Nike have moved away from the “Canary Yellow” colour used in recent years for the South American’s famous home jersey, and here are the first official images of the kit to be leaked:

The jersey also features a zig-zag pattern on the sleeves and of course has a green and blue trim on the collar.

Here’s how the jersey is expected to look when it is officially released later this week:

Images of Brazil’s blue away strip have also been leaked recently.
