Glory, glory Man United.
Finally, after what has seemed like years of Alexis Sanchez dominating our Twitter feeds, manning the front pages of our papers and taking over the world – Alexis Sanchez has been announced as a Manchester United player. Finally.
First, we thought he was bound for the blue half of Manchester. After Pep Guardiola baulked, Jose Mourinho stepped in and the Portuguese hasn’t looked back since.
It’s been a sure thing for a few days now. The only thing delaying matters was Manchester United working on the perfect social media announcement. In fairness to the Red Devils, they’ve nailed it.
The soothing rhymes of Glory, Glory Man United set the tone. The hallowed turf of Old Trafford sets the scene. Alexis Sanchez donning the pristine Manchester United kit is something United supporters have dreamed about for weeks now.
He looks delighted to be there. He also looks like a man that means business.

A question on many people’s lips was whether it was actually Sanchez playing the piano. Behind the scenes footage shows that on top of being one of the best footballers in the world, the multi-talented Chilean is also a capable pianist.
Another string to his bow.

He’s dreamed about that since he was a kid.
“Sing us a song you’re the piano man.”
And the delays on the transfer announcement wasn’t because Sanchez was learning to play the piano. He’s a skilled pianist for years now.
