Arsenal and Tottenham players team up for a video protest against Massimo Cellino

Weird. Really, really weird.

Time to go, Massimo.

That’s the longstanding message from Leeds United fans and, apparently, Dele Alli, Harry Kane and Jack Wilshere, regarding the Italian’s ownership of the troubled Yorkshire club.

Leeds fans have been unsuccessfully giving Cellino his marching orders all season, with protest banners and marches commonplace at Elland Road. They even staged a fake funeral to mourn the ‘death of the club we fell in love with’.

But the rebellious United fans have decided it’s time to call on the big guns, with the Twitter account @WhiteLeedsSite somehow managing to convince Premier League footballers to echo their (admittedly catchy) slogan in what is definitely the strangest video clip you’ll see all week.

Featuring Wilshere, Kane, Alli and Mesut Ozil, it’s a rare opportunity to see the North London rivals come together in the name of a common goal.

If anyone knows what any of them have to do with Leeds United, please do let us know.

Leeds are rooted in 11th in the Championship table, and the club have promised to refund season tickets if they fail to qualify for the play-offs next season.
