Dream big, leave space for advertising

Like an alien mothership, that advertises cola brands and ointment gels.

Arsenal’s majority owner Stan Kroenke has revealed plans for his $1.8 billion mega-stadium in Los Angeles.

Kroenke is keen to shift the St Louis Rams from their home in Missouri and relocate them on the west coast.

If he cannot shift the Rams, he will build the behemoth regardless and hope to tempt the Oakland Raiders and the San Diego Chargers to Inglewood. There is a double cherry on top as Kroenke’s plans include two, completely separate home dressing rooms.

Is as that is not bombastic enough, he will get the builders to construct a roof very similar to the wraparound facade at Bayern Munich’s Allianz Arena. The roof can then be turned into the world’s largest billboard.

If he builds it, somebody better come.
