Let’s make this clear from the off, this isn’t *really* Antoine Griezmann’s fault.
Footage doing the rounds over the Easter weekend shows the French international stepping off the coach along with his Atletico Madrid teammates and walking into a nearby hotel, ignoring a group of supporters that had gathered outside the building.
One of those supporters can be seen holding out a French shirt with the player’s name on the back.
As Fernando Torres appears to stop to sign a couple of autographs, Griezmann takes a look at the shirt, mutters something and continues on his way into the hotel.
We don’t know what exactly he said, but it soon becomes perfectly clear that his snub was enough to bring the fan to tears. Not only that, it also pisses off her dad, too. While comforting his sobbing daughter, the man lets the person pointing a camera in his direction know that he had driven 200km just for the chance to get Griezmann’s autograph.

Surely, before embarking on a 400km-round trip, the chance that Griezmann might have had more important things to do than sign a shirt might have crossed the their minds.
