A Liverpool transfer rumour is developing that will hurt Manchester United fans to hear

Surely not?

Could you imagine if this happened?

If you’re a Liverpool fan, your day probably can’t get any better. Jurgen Klopp, one of the world’s most in-demand, and charismatic managers, who enjoyed phenomenal success with Borussia Dortmund, is about to become the club’s new manager.

Well, if this transfer rumour was to come to fruition, you might have to pop another bottle of champagne, Liverpool fans.

Former United playmaker Shinji Kagawa is being linked with a January move to Anfield.

Kagawa, currently back at Dortmund after an unhappy spell in Manchester, enjoyed a close relationship with Klopp during their time together at the Bundesliga club.

Klopp signed the 26 year old in 2010 for €350,000 from Cerezo, a team in Japan’s second division, before the player moved to Old Trafford in 2012. Liverpool’s new manager claimed he felt despair to see the player being played out of position at United.

These are very, very tenuous links at the moment, but expect a host of Dortmund players to being linked with a move to Liverpool now Klopp has arrived.

In bad news for all right-minded fans of comedy, if Kagawa was to join Liverpool it would see the return of the Evil Kagawa parody account. A sad day for all.
