VIDEO: Grand National trainer’s emotional dedication of Fairyhouse win to late son

Gareth Makim

A stirring moment for Mouse Morris.

The trainer claimed his second Irish Grand National victory (he won a third as a jockey nearly 40 years ago) when 16-1 shot Rogue Angel delivered a gutsy wire-to-wire triumph at Fairyhouse this afternoon.

The RTÉ cameras caught up with Morris in the moments after the race and he delivered a highly emotional dedication of the victory to his son Tiffer, who died in an accident in South America last year.
