UFC star Julianna Pena with some pretty controversial comments on female vs male fighters

Women do a better job

Ultimate Fighter season 18 winner Julianna Pena may have just pissed off every male on the UFC roster.

Pena is set to square off against Jessica Eye at UFC 192, in a bout which could decide who will take on the winner of Ronda Rousey and Holly Holm for the women’s bantamweight belt.

In the build up to her fight, Pena spoke to FOX Sports and gave her thoughts on WMMA. She explained why she thought female fighters should be getting paid way more than their male counterparts, because they are better and have more heart.

“In my opinion, women rule the world. We are the neck and we make the head turn. I feel like that’s the way that it should be and I feel like, if anything, we deserve to get paid 10 times more than the men. Sorry to say, but that’s just me being a female and me also wanting more money.”

“Women do a better job. We draw more, we’re more exciting, we have 10 times more heart, we don’t quit. It’s a more personal thing for a female and it shows in the fights, and I think we should be getting paid for that. I feel like I should be getting paid more for that.”

I’m pretty sure Ronda Rousey gets paid at least 10 times as much as the vast majority of male fighters in the UFC.
