Jamie Wall’s story is spreading far.

The former Cork minor and under 21 football star has been fighting a high-profile battle to walk again, after his promising career was cut short by an abscess in his spine in 2013 left him in a wheelchair.

However, ever the competitor, Wall has been undergoing a long rehabilitation process in the hope of walking again, and it seems his inspiring story is now giving a motivational boost to a Premier League star.

This afternoon, Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere tweeted this message of support to Wall, encouraging the footballer to continue the fight, using the phrase Wall has made his own, “Never give up, never let up”.

However, there is one downside for Jamie, as the big Manchester United fan is now feeling a bit of pressure to become a Gunner!
