Rio Ferdinand asks Conor McGregor to “sort out” UFC fighter Fabricio Werdum

Conor McGregor has an unexpected ally in his fued with Fabricio Werdum.

Rio Ferdinand has urged The Notorious to "sort out" the UFC heavyweight, or the former Manchester United defender will be forced to take matters into his own hands. The issue between McGregor and Werdum stems from comments the Dubliner made last week. According to McGregor, the Brazilian is "a pussy, pulling out (of a fight) with a sore toe. How's the heavyweight champion going to pull out with a sore toe? What kind of champion is that?" In reponse, Werdum posted this image to his Instagram account. The original photo was Rio Ferdinand and Carlos Tevez, but Werdum and McGregor's face have been superimposed in this image. Instead of McGregor responding to the post, Rio's had his say.
