Munster men, proud and true.

If you are looking to watch all 48 matches of this year’s Rugby World Cup, TV3 have your back. The broadcaster announced its punditry line-up at a swish affair at the Merrion Hotel this morning, flagging the August launch of a HD channel.

Keith Wood and Peter Stringer, former Munster and Ireland teammates, will join TV3’s team of analysts, as well as three-time Heineken Cup winner Shane Jennings. Hugo McNeill, an Irish stalwart in the 1980s, lends a voice of experience while Matt Williams, Neil Back and Stuart Barnes add some international flavour.

The broadcasting team will be made up of the broadcaster’s regular rugby correspondent, Sinead Kissane, with Conor McNamara, Matt Cooper, Liam Toland and Murray Kinsella completing in tow.

Niall Cogley, TV3 group director of broadcasting, says, ‘We have assembled a team of contributors with differing views on the game but all with two things in common – they share impeccable rugby credentials and they are all excellent communicators.

‘The panellists have different and complimentary perspectives so that our analysis segments can help viewers enjoy the games more. We look forward now to September in what promises to be a tremendous sporting occasion.’
