Keylor Navas had a very extreme reaction after his move to Manchester United collapsed

Whoa

He must have really, really wanted to live in Manchester.

Real Madrid keeper Keylor Navas opened up about his failed deadline day move to Manchester United during a recent interview on Spanish radio station Cadena Cope .

Navas was set to join the Red Devils in a part exchange deal that would have seen David De Gea move to the Bernabeu. However, as we know, the transfer never happened.

The Costa Rican keeper is arguably the biggest loser after the deal collapsed, considering he was told by Madrid that he was surplus to requirements at the club. He explained that the whole ordeal got a little too much for him.

“This was one of the worst days of my life. I didn’t cry that day, but I did after all was said and done, when I was with my wife.”

“I was waiting in the airport even without suitcases. I was not on the plane, but I was near. In the end, after everything that happened, many complicated moments, we’re human and eventually the time comes when you burst.”

When asked for his thoughts on claims that Real Madrid could try to sign De Gea again this January. He responded:

“De Gea? I’m not worried about Real Madrid trying to sign De Gea next summer.  I’m confident in my own work.  He’s a great goalkeeper, with a great future ahead of him, but the best are at Madrid and I’m going to step up and compete against everyone.”

Navas has been in inspired form since for Los Bloncos this season and has yet to concede in La Liga or the Champions League.
