Get along to Skibbereen in 11 days time as the craic will be mighty.

Double sculls team Gary and Paul O'Donovan captured the hearts and laughs of a nation with their Olympic silver medal win and their myriad of refreshing interviews. The Cork brothers claimed Ireland's first ever rowing medal at an Olympic games with their Rio heroics and their achievement will be formally recognised in Skibbereen on Monday week. Skibbereen Rowing - where the lads started off on the water - announced that the town will stage a homecoming for them, from 7pm, on August 29.
