Before you ask: yes, Jon Walters could obviously make it in the NFL.

Stupid question. Anyway, Sunday night's Super Bowl clash between Denver Broncos and Carolina Panthers was lit up early doors with the appearance of Republic of Ireland manager Martin O'Neill. The Derry man was on the BBC's coverage of the biggest day in American sport and he only went and parked himself in the commentary booth too. That's right, he wasn't there just as a spectator who happened to drop in, he was there to analyse the thing too. https://twitter.com/VigothePainting/status/696483042601336832 Peyton Manning fan, eh? You've got Wes Hoolahan so stop being greedy. He wasn't there alone either. There was a certain Mr Keane accompanying him on the journey to San Francisco. https://twitter.com/ConorN11/status/696482851450183680 It surprised us all. https://twitter.com/BhamUpdates/status/696483478607654912 Then O'Neill started getting really philosophical and making references and comparisons that only Irish people would really appreciate. https://twitter.com/DavoBirmingham/status/696485810191917057 A lot of people got over the appearance very quickly though and started scrutinising his actual appearance. https://twitter.com/ddgaine/status/696485412479623168 https://twitter.com/bingo1177/status/696486223725117440 The big question though: #WheresRoy https://twitter.com/sportsdes/status/696483024008048640
