A real touch of class with a real touch of Irishness.

The University of Notre Dame is proud of its heritage. So proud in fact that their football team are going to be inadvertently honouring the most Irish of all shows in their spring game. The Notre Dame Decals are showing off specially designed helmets with a a Father Ted stamp on them. But it is actually a nice touch from the team who are remembering the college's recently deceased former head, Father Theodore Hesburgh. Ryan Grooms, who looks after the equipment of the college's American Footballers tweeted out a link to an Instagram picture for a first look at the new helmets. https://twitter.com/NDFBEquipment/status/588071785867902976 TED Thanks to @dusgerire for sending this one our way.
