He was having a typically heroic Peter O'Mahony kind of day up until the 71st minute.

The Munster flanker was one of the few Irish players that performed to their usually high standards in a far from pretty 16-9 win over Italy. Ireland reached the last eight after their victory at the Olympic Stadium but they were pushed all the way. Unfortunately, O'Mahony blotted his copybook with a no arms tackle that saw him sin-binned for the remainder of the game.
