Leinster rugby bring in former England coach in shock signing

Former England coach Stuart Lancaster has joined Leinster rugby.

Lancaster comes in as a replacement for Kurt McQuilkin, who returned to New Zealand for personal reasons. Leinster Rugby Head Coach Leo Cullen sounded confident that the new coaching addition could benefit the team, speaking to leinsterrugby.ie.

"Stuart brings a wealth of experience and is a highly respected figure in world rugby. Lancaster took over as England coach in 2011 but left after the 2015 World Cup as the hosts failed to qualify from their pool. He will begin his new position as Senior Coach at Leinster immediately with his contract running until the end of the season.
