Well that's that done, anyway.

The most anticipated bout in UFC history is in the books and all focus shifts to what's next for Conor McGregor. It was one of the first questions for UFC Vice President of Public Relations Dave Sholler who stood in for an absent Dana White at the post-fight press conference. UFC 194: Aldo vs. McGregor Sholler outlined White's next plans for McGregor and all but dispelled McGregor's hope of being a two-weight world champion. "He (White) laid out two scenarios," Sholler said. "One scenario is that he (McGregor) stays at 145 lbs and fights Frankie Edgar. "The second scenario is potentially vacating that title, moving up and getting the next shot following the FOX card next weekend between Cerrone and Dos Anjos. So those are the two scenarios.  "You know Dana doesn't like to make fights on the night of a fight but that's how he laid it out for several of the TV partners backstage."
