Frankie Edgar confirms that he didn’t write those confrontational tweets about Conor McGregor

It was so out of character that this was always suspected.

After a tirade appeared from Frankie Edgar's Twitter account on Christmas Eve in which the former UFC lightweight champion called out Conor McGregor, many believed that Edgar wasn't the one sending the messages. "Ali was like 'brother, you need to do a Q&A.' I said 'I don't feel like doing it.' He's like 'do you care if I do it?' I said 'go ahead.' "He's like 'I'm going to tag Lorenzo (Fertitta), Conor (McGregor), blah blah, blah and I said 'yes, go for it.' "Now, all the stuff he said, do I believe it? Yes, I believe that if I fight Conor that I'll beat Conor. I believe all the stuff that he said. I pretty much do believe everything he said.  "Would I have worded it the way he did or spelled it the way he did? Maybe not. But I got the point across and I got people talking so job well done."
