Conor McGregor makes his prediction for UFC 205

"I don't just knock them out, I pick the round!"

His last two fights in the UFC aside, Conor McGregor's bold predictions for his fights have largely come true. The most famous prediction of "Mystic Mac" was that he would beat Jose Aldo within one round. He then inflicted the Brazilian's first defeat in over 10 years after 13 seconds of their bout at UFC 194. McGregor was asked to give his prediction for his fight against Eddie Alvarez at UFC 205 during last night's press conference, and the Dubliner reckons it will be over within one round. "I've nothing against Edward," McGregor said about his opponent, who has won 28 of 32 fights, and lost one bout in the UFC. Alvarez then told McGregor to be careful. "Shut your f****** mouth! Shut your f****** mouth," the UFC featherweight champion said.

"I run New York! I run this whole s*** and Mystic Mac predicts I'm going to KO you inside one round. I've been whooping his style a long, long time. He's a stocky, stuffed wrestler with an overhand. That's it."
