The Offaly golf club is Shane Lowry's local club and there was standing room only in the clubhouse for the 28 year old's final round at the WGC Bridgestone Invitational.

The Irishman held his nerve to win the tournament, finishing on 11 under and collecting a cheque for $1.5 million.
