Italy played France in Gaelic football this weekend (no really!)

Italy have three clubs: Rovigo, Padua and Rome while France has 19. So there was only ever going to be one winner.

Sure enough France walloped the Italians 8-22 to 0-5. That's eight goals and 22 points. But the historic first ever Italian point in Gaelic football went to the impressively named Duke Vincenzo or 'The Duke' as we like to call him. https://twitter.com/chepalleblog/status/533675909082255361 Earlier the French women's team also thrashed the Italians, this time a more respectable 5-14 to 2-4.
