Andrea Pirlo has not been in the USA a wet week and he is already seen as a legend. The Italian midfielder was in top form, last night, as he helped his New York City FC side to a 3-1 win over DC United. New York were losing 1-0 when Pirlo picked up easy possession just inside the opposition half. Give the former Juventus string-puller time and space and he will pick you apart. So it was, last night, as Pirlo looked up, spotted a run from teammate David Villa and unlock the DC United defence with one, glorious swoosh of his right boot.
