So this is why footballers do yoga

Raheem Sterling proved more than a little bit elusive for the Chelsea defence to stop last night as his run and strike helped Liverpool secure a 1-1 League Cup semi final first leg result at Anfield. But it wasn't for the want of trying by the Chelsea defence. His goal cancelled out an opener from Eden Hazard from the penalty spot which leaves the game very finely poised ahead of the return leg at Stamford Bridge. Sterling's goal came in the 59th minute but before he scorched Gary Cahill for pace, John Terry had shown the way on how to stop the 19-year-old right in his tracks. He decided to use a tackling technique more associated with WWE rather than a football pitch. But hey, it worked. The reaction by some fans on Twitter was fantatstic https://twitter.com/BluesChronicle/status/557642838075531265 https://twitter.com/BrooksDT/status/557662792090923008 https://twitter.com/NateGuildea/status/557657686352068609 https://twitter.com/NoItsRebecca/status/557643318285586432
