Joey Barton questioned yesterday if Jordan Henderson was the right choice to succeed Steven Gerrard as captain Liverpool.
The QPR midfielder actually went further than questioning Henderson; he basically
took him apart in a series of tweets, before Jamie Carragher stepped in to defend his former teammate.
Well, Barton might regret the content of his Twitter rant after today's events. The midfielder was made captain for his side's trip to Hull City, but got himself sent off before half-time for this sneaky attempt to low-blow Tom Huddlestone. The ninth red card of his career.
QPR went on to lose 2-1, conceding a last minute goal and Barton's card was his eight in as many games, after being booked in each of his last seven Premier League appearances.

Barton should also probably expect another tweet from Carragher soon.
