Stephen Hunt hit the airwaves today to try to clarify those comments he made about GAA players at the weekend. According to Twitter, he did not help matters with the interview.

Hunt pissed off just about everyone involved in the GAA at the weekend by implying that Gaelic footballers wouldn't be able to hack the professionalism of the Premier League. The exact direct quote was, "If GAA players tried to live with the level of commitment shown by a professional footballer, they wouldn’t know what hit them." Hunt was interviewed on 2FM's sport show Game On tonight in relation to those comments about GAA players. Here's how Twitter reacted to the interview. https://twitter.com/jonnypmayo/status/539902049660723200 https://twitter.com/KevinFitz2468/status/539904208989093888 https://twitter.com/raynolan1976/status/539868621053652993 https://twitter.com/meganlyons98/status/539865086601748481 https://twitter.com/dcr22B/status/539908932865908736 https://twitter.com/OfficialKilroy/status/539863876461154305 https://twitter.com/Frankienolan16/status/539863349769805824 https://twitter.com/K_Ivers/status/539862426242809856 https://twitter.com/ggroarke/status/539906387577692160
