This has to be the most harrowing image from the clashes in the Stade Velodrome.

The trouble in Marseilles' streets during the past few days carried over to the Stade Velodrome on Saturday night. At the end of Russia's 1-1 draw with England, a group of Russian supporters charged at England fans, breaking through the perimeter set by stewards and forcing English supporters to clamour for safety. The image below, posted by Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano, shows terrified English supporters, and not the element that had caused havoc in the city over the previous few days. Fathers and their sons are fleeing the scene, an elderly woman stands motionless and a father appeals for the rioting to stop to allow him to escort his son to safety. A troubling image. https://twitter.com/FabrizioRomano/status/741742981481410560 SNAPCHAT
