Manuel Pellegrini was probably the only tourist in Ireland this weekend not at the Rising commemoration

Manuel Pellegrini was spotted in Ireland this weekend.

The Manchester City manager took advantage of the international break to spend some time in Cork, rather than in Dublin at the 1916 Rising commemoration military parade like most other tourists in the country for the Easter weekend. Pellegrini is set to be replaced as City manager by Pep Guardiola in the summer, which led to some fans speculating on whether the Chilean could be in line to take over one of the Rebel County's League of Ireland teams.
