Goals could be hard to come by at Vicarage Road tomorrow for Manchester United.

The international break has not been kind to Louis Van Gaal, who faces a trip to Watford without FIVE first-team players. While full-back-cum-winger Antonio Valencia and midfielder Michael Carrick have been ruled out, the United manager's major headaches are further up the field. Who the Dutchman will play up front is a mystery as he plans without Wayne Rooney, Anthony Martial and break-glass-in-case-of-emergency striker Marouane Fellaini. https://twitter.com/ManUtd/status/667640195651649536

Teenage sensation Martial left Wembley on crutches after Tuesday's friendly between England and France. Rooney scored the second in England's 2-0 win but will miss the Watford clash through injury.

With Van Gaal's favourite "Plan B" Fellaini also ruled out and James Wilson not fit enough to play 90 minutes, United's forward options are limited.

It could provide the perfect opportunity for Memphis Depay to reignite his Old Trafford career, which has stalled somewhat after a bright start. Alternatively Juan Mata could play up top in some form of a False Nine role.

Either way the team selection could be interesting.
