After all that, it looks like Jonathan Walters is staying put.

Earlier in the week, it appeared as though the Irish striker was set to leave Stoke City with Sky Sports reporting that he had handed in a transfer request. Norwich City and West Bromwich Albion were thought to be the likely destinations, particularly the Canaries who had two bids rejected for Walters this window.
