Mamadou Sakho must have thought he was in the Aviva Stadium, not Anfield

The Liverpool defender pulled off an absolutely ridiculous tackle during Liverpool's 3-2 win over Tottenham Hotspur in the Premier League. Moussa Dembele looked to have beaten the centre back when, all of a sudden, he was taken down with a Peter Stringer-esque ankle tap by the Frenchman. Unsurprisingly, the referee awarded Spurs the free kick and Sakho was shown a yellow card. Still though, at least he now knows that if the whole football thing works out he always has a rugby career he can fall back on.
