'It’s not very nice, that’s for sure,' the Spanish singer said on a chatshow on Wednesday. 'You have to hunt out specific places, the nicer places. But even then Spain is nicer. The reason I like it is because David’s there. With him being there, everything looks wonderful'.
It rains, on average, 140 days per year in Manchester, so it's no surprise she'd rather the pair spent their time in sunny Madrid.
But are Garcia's comments harsh? Is Manchester really 'uglier than the back of the fridge'?
