A big European final. The sort of occasion where a few nerves are understandable for both fans and players alike.

Daniel Sturridge however, doesn't seem too fazed by it all. When presented with a sight of goal (if you can call it a 'sight of goal') such as this one, many a striker would've been tempted to put their foot through the ball and hope for the best. Not Daniel. Using the defender as a screen to obscure the goalkeeper's view, Sturridge uses the outside of his left foot to curl the ball just inside the far post. To fully appreciate just how perfect the England striker's effort was, there's no finer camera angle than the one seen below.
