Bayern Munich’s CEO is sick of Manchester United contacting him about Thomas Muller

Ed Woodward is nothing if not persistent.

The Manchester United executive vice-chairman reportedly spent most the summer transfer window pursuing deals for players such as Neymar, Gareth Bale and Thomas Muller. The club ended up Anthony Martial instead, and that has worked out pretty well so far, but Ed may not have given up hope of signing a superstar for United.

According to Christian Falk, football correspondent for German newspaper Bild, Bayern Munich' chief executive officer is absolutely sick of being contacted by United over Muller's availability. Heinz Rummenigge reportedly said: "I told Ed Woodward that I can't switch off my email account, so he should stop sending offers for Muller." https://twitter.com/cfbayern/status/650774421817458688?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw However, this could just be a sign that their stance is weakening, Ed. Rummenigge may have to change his email address.
