CONFIRMED: Amir Khan will fight Canelo Alvarez in a title bout

Amir Khan will face off against Saul 'Canelo' Alvarez on May 7, it has been confirmed.

The Olympic silver medallist will move up a wait class in an attempt to take Alvarez's WBC middleweight title belt back to Britain. The 29-year-old will face the Mexican superstar on the weekend of Cinco de Mayo in Las Vegas.
